Autograph Styling

When Bailey relaunched their Autograph range in 2017, it was clear lots of time had gone into thinking about both the exterior and interior styling. The results are a truly stylish range of motorhomes.

There’s an eye-catching graphics scheme on the exterior, LED exterior lighting on the back panel, double glazed windows and Aero style wheel arches.

Internally, there are high-quality fixtures and furnishings. The Thetford cooker means creating culinary masterpieces on the road won’t be a problem.

While the Dreamsleep soft furnishing system means you can relax in your motorhome with the same comfort as your lounge at home. The Autograph range has contemporary and clean lines, aided by the Mendip Ash cabinet styling and Aero style overhead lockers.

Bailey Autograph 68-2

This is a 2 berth motorhome, powered by a Peugeot 2.0 Blue Hdi (High-Pressure Direct Injection) 160bhp engine with 6-speed manual gearbox.

Alloy wheels come as standard as does remote cab and living door locking, electric windows, power steering and ABS, sat nav, air con and cruise control. The body is constructed with Bailey’s patented Alu-tec system and consequently comes with a 6-year integrity warranty.

There is a tower fridge and freezer and rigorous safety features such as rear parking camera and smoke detectors. You can see the full spec for the 68-2 here. The 68-2 was described by Practical Motorhome magazine as being: “good value for the price and will appeal to comfort-seeking couples.

Bailey Approach Autograph 75-2

The Autograph 75-2 has almost the exact same spec as the 68-2 with one key differential: it’s capable of being a four berth so has enhanced living space in the lounge.

Practical Motorhome described the 75-2 as “a well-designed and well-specified motorhome.” Primarily designed for a couple, there is the option of extra sleeping space by virtue of the extra lounge berths.

Bailey Autograph 75-4

The key difference between the Bailey Autograph 75-4 and the 75-2 is reflected in their names. The Autograph 75-4 having four passenger seats.

Both as the name also indicates being 7.5 m long. Apart from that their specs are virtually exactly the same and it will be familiar to anyone who knows the Approach Autograph 745 model, as it is simply that one by another name.

Bailey Autograph 79-4 – Bailey Autograph 79-4T

79-6 Interior_Passenger travel seatsThe Bailey Autograph 79-4 and 79-4T differ by virtue of bedding: the 4T having fixed twin beds as opposed to the fixed double bed in the 79-4.

The two rear travel passenger seats and the adjustable Captain’s seats combine to form a lounge that can fit six people. And when it’s bedtime, the model boasts a luxurious longitudinal raised fixed bed

The Approach 79-4 was named Practical Motorhome Magazine’s ‘Best Coach Built Motorhome’ for 2018.

Bailey Autograph 79-6

The six-berth, six-seat model of the Autograph range has rear and front traverse double beds and is an ideal motorhome for families. The motorhome has a good pedigree, being the successor to the national award-winning Autograph 765.

Alu Tech and Bailey

bailey alu tecBailey motorhomes are constructed using their patented alu-tech process. This delivers an interlocking aluminium framework that binds the body panels together.

Consequently, the motorhome is more robust with a long-lasting body shell. Thicker panels in GRP provide enhanced insulation with no additional weight. Better resistance to the weather means less upkeep and maintenance work on your vehicle.

About Bailey Motorhomes

Having been in existence for 70 years, UK motorhome manufacturer Bailey has plenty of experience in meeting customer expectations through great motorhome design and engineering.

And, amazingly, they are also still a family run business who pride themselves in putting their personal stamp on all their motorhomes. This means every new design detail is tested thoroughly before being added to a Bailey motorhome.

An example being Bailey’s heating systems. These are tested ion temperatures as low as -15 centigrade, resulting in bailey possessing market leading motorhome insulation. Another example is taking Bailey motorhomes on a 5000 miles trek to the Arctic Circle in Northern Finland.  A test which proved the endurance capabilities of Bailey motorhomes.
