There are certain things that have to be seen in person, talking about them, describing them, even posting videos just won’t do them justice.
You know the type of thing – the Pyramids, the best sunset you’ve ever seen, an eagle in full flight, the new motorhome range from Burstner.
Yes, yes, I suppose so, what? We’re just imaging your reaction to the above.
Is that a Burstner in the distance?
Ok, the new Burstner range might not quite be a natural wonder of the world (though had they been around when they were putting things on the list, who knows…), but if you have any interest in motorhomes then the announcement of a new range is always an interesting moment.
Burstners are high-end, high-spec hotels on wheels, even the least expensive (it would be a push to describe any Burstner as cheap) has a level of finish typically seen in bathroom showrooms.
When you step inside a Burstner you get that perfect mix of quality and innovation, but not innovation for the sake of it. Innovative layouts to make the best use of space whilst not making living a pain (you can hide things away, but they need to be easy to get out and put back, who wants to spend 30 minutes trying to get a kitchen table up?)
We could describe each new model in great detail, talking through all the different layout options, many of them just subtle tweaks.
However, we have read pages like that and they tend to just leave you a bit confused, you suddenly have 10 different motorhome interiors to try to visualise.

What we can say is that the biggest announcement in their new range is the birth of a new series, the Ixeo T model range, this range being at the upper-end of their mid-tier motorhomes.
The range will consist of five models, one of which will be available from December 2018.
As you would expect, there are clever design features and beautiful touches, for example in one model a washroom where the toilet, sink and units can fold back into the wall to turn the space into a shower cubicle.
What they all boast is a large sky roof, creating a beautifully sunny living area and as for those little touches, the kitchen has a choice of either a glass fronted cabinet to display wine glasses or a pull-out coffee machine. Which would you choose?!
The smallest, the T 690G comes in just one centimetre short of seven metres and at around the £70,000 mark.
However, has that really helped you picture it? The Pyramids are just huge structures made out of limestone, unsurprisingly they are in a pyramid shape, that hasn’t really replaced the experience of seeing them, has it?
And we know they’re not quite the same. The Pyramids can’t really be compared to one of the leading motorhome manufacturers, they were made thousands of years ago, they didn’t have modern technology, don’t be too harsh on the ancient Egyptians.
If you do want to see one of the wonders of the world, you’re going to have to fly a very long way. If you want to see the new Burstner range, all you have to do is pop down to your local Burtsner-approved dealership.
Obviously, we’d love that to be us, but we know not everyone can live in the north west of England.
